You were smiling today,
It looked so beautiful and nice,
It looked like sunshine,
In the middle of the night...
It was so beautiful,
So wonderful and so bright,
A truly pleasant treat,
For my sore eyes...
Your smile, like sunshine,
Shining from beyond the gloomy clouds,
Your silent laughter,
Heart captivatingly loud...
A genuine smile from the depths of the heart,
With grounding and healing powers like mother earth...
A smile so innocent and so pure,
A precious treasure for whose glimpse even god's would lure....
Part of my daily life,
Part of my daily dream,
Your beautiful adorable smile,
In excitement, makes even my numb heart to scream...
Your sweet adorable smile,
Cheering the heart up,
Radiating through colorful eyes,
Peaceful, innocent love...
A brave, courageous soul,
With a highly contagious smile,
Spreading around hope and cheer,
With your special and unique style...
Beautifully gleaming through your eyes,
The glow of your smile is so charming and bright,
Filling up with happiness,
Bringing to my gloomy dark days some magical light ....

222. Bullying: The hidden scars
Bullied at an early age,
Living in a self-imposed cage...
Inflicted with mental and emotional pain,
Some brutal kids, for their moment of laughter, left her heart with life-long fears and immense strain...
She suffered from being a victim for their amusement and laugh,
Paying a life-long hefty price which ruined her beautiful future, vast...
Afraid and filled with many fears,
Trying to show courage by smiling and hiding her tears...
Bravely trying to face the challenges of everyday life,
Every moment trying to move on with a happy vibe ...
Brilliant, intelligent and talented,
But currently lying hidden in the shadows, wounded...
Because as a child,
She faced the wrath of a society, wild,
Damaging her soul,
Leaving her with scars both deep and mild...
The childhood's brutal bullying drama,
Left her to deal with a life-long trauma...
Her confidence was badly injured,
Leaving her broken, vulnerable and hurt...
Replacing her confidence with self-doubt,
Seeds of darkness in her life, the people around her sprout...
A young kind soul,
Waiting to heal back and become whole,
To once again be her true self,
Now is her life's only aim and goal...
Filled with brilliance,
That needs a little guidance for growth,
A shattered heart,
To heal back and accept society,
Needing a little motivation and support...

223. A Vegan's Dilemma
I am consuming a young life,
That one day could have transformed and grown into a strong, beautiful plant life...
Stopping one from coming to life,
By consuming it in its early stage as a seed and a spout, which was someday about to grow and rise...
Killing the plants alive,
Taking away their lives,
Unintentional act of violence,
Of eating plants and cruelty on them comes under acceptance levels of religious tolerance...?
If we don't eat plants,
Is there a way out to survive?
Or their destruction and consumption,
A necessity for humans to live a healthy life...?
The guilt of killing and unborn,
Making my heart feel heavy and torn...
Making my eyes numb,
How much to you this may seem dumb,
But plants also live and breathe life,
They also feel pain, emotions and have their own tribe,
Hurting, killing, cutting or consuming them,
How can one's karma thrive...
If killing animals is a sin,
Why is it not the same with plants...?
If all living beings are equal,
Then why this double strand ?
If it's advocated not to drink milk,
Because its unethical and wrong,
Then no words can justify killing plants,
No matter how twisted or how strong....
I am a vegan or a vegetarian,
Still, I am the killer of my own friendly species, not so alien...
Cutting the leaves,
Just to make the plant beautiful or strong,
Why didn't nature control its growth in the needed way?
How could it go wrong...?
What if one day, to voice their opinion,
They put out a strong rebellion,
They are in a trillion,
Before a blink of an eye, they could turn to dust a complete civilization...
I am truly filled with guilt, confusion, and self-doubt,
After eating, a lotus seed filled in the center with a small green sprout...
I don't know if I should feel good or bad,
Or how should I emotionally react....
Feel good for eating,
A healthy and nutrition-rich sprout,
Feel happy and content,
And self proud...
Or feel sad and miserable,
And filled with self-doubt,
For murdering and killing a new life,
So mercilessly under the cloud...

A divine message came,
To tell you not to be sad or cry,
And that, a smile is on the way,
To bring you some joy...
No more sadness,
Only happiness and cheer,
Once you let go of your fears,
The light will appear...
Sadness is there,

Like anxiety is always accompanied,
By pain and rain of tears...
Your smile is the guiding light,
That will remove the darkness of fear's plight,
Setting things in your life right,

A divine message came to me,
To tell you not to be sad or cry,

Hidden in disguise,
For whose services,

An angel can come disguised in any form,

Bringing the magic of gentle words,
Making hope rekindle birth...
Unexpected gift from an unexpected source,
The universe is a truly mysterious force,
Not all is what it seems at first glance,
Be open-minded and not stubborn in your stance...
Enjoy the journey,
Don't get obsessed to solve,
Live and celebrate every moment as it comes,
Every puzzle, don't get entangled to resolve...
A gentle thief, a silent healer,
With a touch of divine grace,
Healing the heart with happiness,
Making it, once again, race...
There is good in every bad,
And bad in every good,
It's just the way,
At it, how we choose to look...
A thief,
Who will steal away all your tears,

You are a beautiful angel in disguise,
In their jealousy, your confidence people despise...
You are a soul, courageous and brave,
With your enchanting smile,
People's hearts you enslave...
You are like a colorful rainbow,
In my dark gloomy clouds,
So adorable and so humble,
And never acting arrogant or proud...
So cheerful and lively,
With a vibrant glow,

Standing on a huge mountain of problems, strong,
To love and adore your strength,
One can never go wrong...
Your soul shines a radiant light,
You are sunshine on a stormy night,
Having the courage to turn every wrong into right,
A perfect example of strength and might...

Makes me feel peaceful and relaxed,

I am a killer,
People know me as a killjoy,
People's dream world with harsh reality,
I often shatter and destroy...
I am here, not to please,
The truth I am here to share and release...
To bring to light the truth,
That in shadows often stays hidden,
Because, for most, it's too harsh and scary,
And talking about it becomes a taboo and forbidden...
Society often ignores acknowledging the truth,
Finding it repulsive and messy,
They just like to talk about fake glimmer,
And things that are flashy or classy...
I am a killer,
Known as killjoy,
With truth, people's illusions,
Who often destroys...
Speaking the truth,
As harsh and as bitter as it may be,
Because saying the truth,
Is what sets our heart, mind and soul free...
People love to hear false praise,
Because their super ego, it gives a raise...
Sweet sugary talks,
Artificial praises and sugar-coated lies,
That's what gets a person,
In society's eyes place high...
But I am here,
To kill that fake joy,
With the power of truth,
The castles of lies to destroy...
To heal the future,
Administer the bitter medicine of truth,
To purge the lies,
And shield it from the shaking hands of these lying crooks...
Truth is a bitter pill,
Speaking which requires no special skill,
Just the courage to stand alone strong,
And the will to right every wrong...
Choose to be a killjoy,
Not for revenge or to annoy,
But to right the wrong,
And to freely sing the heart's true tune and true song....

228. Desperation's Grip: The Ethical Dilemma
When a person can't full fill and rise above his basic survival needs,
How can he be expected to think and do for society, any good deed ?
To meet life's necessities and needs,
If someone chooses an unethical path, how can it be called their greed....?
If one is starving even after all day's hard work,
Being just a victim of poor and bad luck...
Choices and circumstances beyond one's control,
Scarcity of basic necessities, taking on life a hard toll...
When there are lack of opportunities to grow,
When socio-economic exploitation keeps people's living standards low...
Living a hectic life, always on their feet,
Still, at the end of the day, hardly, able to make ends meet...
If by honest ways and means,
One is hardly able to make ends meet,
What other options are left,
Other than to fool and cheat...
It's not really justified and great,
The unfair play of fate...
What's ethical and what's unethical in the battle to survive,
To save one's existence one has to do whatever it takes to stay alive....
When people's lives start to feel like a prison,
To escape the trap of their hellish life, everything seems to be in reason to be forgiven...

How would you be called sleeping beauty,
If you don't sleep enough,
Moving on in the day with lack of sleep,
Is in itself, a job, really tough...
How will you efficiently achieve your goals,
Working tiresomely throughout the day,
If you feel drained and tired,
Right after waking away...
Ample sleep is the best medicine for a healthy life,
Even from chronic diseases, which can help one revive...
Lack of sleep brings brain fog,
Reducing our alertness to the levels of a dead log,
Making us irritated and agitated,
And making us act crazy like an angry dog...
Dulling our reflex,
Making simple tasks complex,
Making out of even good things, a total mess,
Adding to life unnecessary and unfruitful exhaustion and stress...
Always in zombie mode,
Slowly life's peace and happiness will fade and erode…
The ultimate price of lost sleep,
Lost health and reduced life span due to this silent thief...
Often blinding us to many facts,
Making us senselessly act,
Increasing our time to react,
Making us sleep zombie in fact ...
Enough sleep,
Is what keeps us healthy and fit,
It's deficiency can make us ill and seriously sick...
Try to rest and relax,
At least over the weekend,
Let it be time,
To heal, rejuvenate and regain back your strength...
And what better way,
To spend a holiday,
Then to rest and relax,
And peacefully sleep it away...

Living has become a tiresome task,
For help and support, I have no one to ask
No friends and no one of my own,
No one to listen to my sad stories and moan...
With nothing falling in the right place,
Life missing out on divine blessings and grace,
No one giving me, in their life and heart, any space,
Life is like a never ending complicated and dangerous maze...
Never ending challenges and troubles piling up,
My life has turned into a problems favorite hub,
Lacking peace, happiness and love,
My life force, toxic depression has started to crub...
No one to fall back on,
No one to call,
Solitude taking on my health,
A terrible toll...
My heart is sinking,
I don't know what to do,
How to overcome sadness,
And stop feeling blue...
How to undo,
Mistakes and problems, few,
How to develop towards life,
Positive and optimistic view, new...
Lost in the world of the living dead,
I feel sad, numb and continuously depressed...
I feel so lost and so sad,
Useless like a piece of old torn rag,
Helpless and empty like a bag,
Tied up by the spell of some evil hag....
With only negativity being continuously fed into my soul,
Emotional and physical health taking an awful toll,
With no longer left with any aim, dreams, desires or goal,
Nothing in this universe can now make my shattered heart once again whole...
Waiting eagerly for the end of days,
Awaiting the end of this race...
